Nature’s Gem Mother
Nature created a gem when she formed the Lackawanna River. History has not always been kind to the river and its valley, but today, the gem shines! The Lackawanna River has 17-miles of Class A Wild Trout water, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission’s highest rating, and is a fishery that regularly produces trophy trout.

Mission

The mission of Lackawanna Valley Trout Unlimited is to conserve, protect, restore, and sustain the cold water fisheries throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania, with a special interest in the Lackawanna River and its valley. Reclaiming the past, protecting the present, and preparing for the future shall be our battle cry!

We invite anyone with like interests to please join us in our quest.
